Most common excuse? I will start on Monday.
No, you won't, because Monday is the most stressful day of the week, the morning is a rush, no time to plan anything, no time to buy anything, no time to check food labels on the lunch and so on.

The calendar just gave us a favor, 1 July is a Saturday. Hopefully you won't be working, therefore have time to visualise how you would like to look and feel at the end of the year. Want to be lighter? Want to be more fit? Want to eat more healthy? Want to fix some health issues?

Build habits to put yourself on auto-pilot. Remind yourself to track your eating, do your workout, go for that walk, do the daily stretching. It won't be easy for the first few weeks, but if you keep doing these, all of these will get to be a habit. If something is your habit, your mind and body will do it regularly without the need to remind yourself.

I have the habit of working out, at the beginning I had to get myself to go to the gym, because I couldn't lift heavy weights, it was hard, I was sweating and I didn't like that either. It helped me that I had partners to go with, if they can do it, I can do it, meanwhile we can have a nice chat, get to know each other and so on.

Now, as it's a habit, I don't have to think about it, because even if I'm not doing workouts on a schedule, at the same time, after a day or two I have the feeling that the last time was too long ago, I should go to challenge myself, "feel the pain", feel strong during and feel great after it, so with such an urge I will already know that I'm going that day or if I can't, I even tried to go to sleep early and get up hours earlier to hit the gym.

You have to lay down the basics of your health in your 30-s, 40-s, you are not young anymore, sadly, it's important to take care of yourself, so you can thrive later on, your kids, grandkids, grand-grandkids will need you, be there!
